MIBL

Welcome! Our lab uses techniques in isotope geochemistry to study the Earth's carbon-cycle and its relationship to climate change, on scales from individual ecosystems to the globe. We are especially interested in using isotopic measurements to trace greenhouse gas production and emissions processes; and to understand how aquatic carbon cycling responds to environmental change.
